Q Crane & Plant Hire, based close to Manchester, offers the largest fleet of cranes in the North West.

At Q Crane and Plant Hire, we're a Manchester-based, privately owned company hiring out crawler cranes and excavators around Manchester, the North West and Nationwide. Established in 1972 we are actively driven, and our young management team are progressive, ambitious and eager to take the business forward.

At base we have a six acre site offering the best facilities for storage, testing and servicing our plant stock. We have fully equipped workshop facilities and a fully trained staff of engineers enabling us to provide a 24 hour back up service throughout the UK. Our base is very centrally located, close to the M62 with excellent motorway links We have the largest crawler crane hire fleet in the North West and, uniquely, offer both crane and plant hire to the UK.

Our aim is to partner with our clients to work hard to find the correct solutions to fit their requirements. We are often involved from tender stage right through to the contract being awarded, and have long established relationships with our clients.

We've worked hard to build up a good client base, including a large number of blue chip clients and have a number of preferred supplier agreements. We do not aim to be the largest volume provider in the business, but we do aim to offer a professional service - above and beyond just providing a crane or a piece of plant. We offer our expertise throughout the process to make sure we properly evaluate our clients' needs and supply the best possible equipment to service their contracts.
