Q plant is a nationwide hirer of Crawler Cranes and Excavators. We have a modern fleet of Crawler Cranes ranging from 18 to 180 tonnes, Tracked Excavators ranging from 3 to 45 tonnes, Wheeled Excavators up to 21 tonnes, Dumpers up to 9 tonnes & Dozers. We hire plant Self-drive or Operated with a Nationwide network of C.I.T.B/C.P.C.S. qualified Operators. We also have our own haulage with a low loader with a capacity of 55 tonnes.

Our main depots are situated in Oldham, Lancashire & Airdrie, Lanarkshire. Oldham, just to the East of Manchester, is ideally situated for the M60 & M62 allowing instant access to the North West and Yorkshire. The Airdrie depot is in the heart of the Edinburgh - Glasgow corridor. Situated in Greengairs, just off the A73 and surrounded by the M8, M9, M73 & M80 motorways.

Our ever increasing fleet is maintained by our own Engineers based in our Workshops in Oldham, Airdrie & Battersea and supplemented by Satellite fitters throughout the U.K. Our ability to service large projects is aided by the extensive nationwide warranties provided by our suppliers.

Q Plant has invested heavily to make Health & Safety an advantage. All our Operators have attended Health & Safety courses and are C.I.T.B. certified. Our Machines have all the latest Health and Safety aids. Our excavators have Safe Load Indicators, Check Valves, Quick-hitches, Vandal guards and Rear view Cameras. All our hydraulic Cranes have been purchased to the highest safety specifications and slew restrictors are available.
